The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Peter Letizia can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Lisa (Derwin) Carpenter
Condolence: So very sorry to hear of the passing of Coach Letizia. He always made me feel part of the team, even though I was a shy, non-competitive person. Sending my thoughts to his friends and family during this difficult time. I hope it helps to know how great an impact he had for so many young people.

Condolence: I was deeply saddened to hear about Pete's passing. Even in the mid 70's our folks would talk about the 'good ole days'. Entering a new shool, Plant Jr High, in 1974 also meant new friends and new teachers. Little did I know that one new teacher wearing wide ties, to be known as Mr 'L', became both. He and a group of other teachers helped to form and shape for many of us, lasting friendships and memories. Through fun classes, pizza parties(Jimmie's Pizza),sports and Red Sox games, Mr 'L' became my friend, became Pete later in life, and was a groomsman at my wedding. For myself and my classmates..he helped to make our GOOD OLE DAYS. Pete, know you made a difference. You were loved and you will be missed but always remebered.

Condolence: To Pete Letizia's family: Pete was my mentor teacher at Hall HS when I was in the ARC in the summer of 1995. Pete was great, and I have never forgotten him. He always came through for me. I remember leaving notes at his house in the early evening hours when I was in a panic about the next day's lesson and couldn't reach him by phone. He never answered my notes; he always made me find a solution to the problem myself. I was constantly amazed at how Pete could teach without notes. He was a genius. We had run into one another at grocery stores, etc., years later and it was always a pleasure to get reacquainted. I will never forget his kindness, love for teaching and inspiration. He were one of the best. God bless. Marsha

Condolence: Coach,
You will be missed dearly. I was a young freshman and you were my JV baseball coach. You gave me the necessary skills and confidence to perform at the next level. You were a great coach and a true friend. It was great to talk to you about the Red Sox and the Giants.

God Bless,
Cal
