Condolence: I was so sad to hear the news of Val's death. I will miss seeing him at Cornerstone, talking to him in the pool and hot tub, watching him give swimming technique pointers to anyone who needed it. He was such a sweet and friendly man and always had a smile on his face. Cornerstone won't be the same without him. I will keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Val was an inspiration to myself and many other swimmers. I will always remember his enthusiasm and determination to improve his condition in his 90s. He was blessed with a supporting family, another sign of a life well lived. Go your way in peace, Val, you are loved and will be remembered.
