The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nilde Console can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Nilde Console

Nilde Console, 87, of West Hartford, passed away on October 29, 2015 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Console. She leaves a loving son, Richard and his wife, Maria. Nilde was active in the community, both at the Church of Saint Brigid and the Elmwood Senior Center. She will be greatly missed for her generosity of spirit and the love she gave to her family and friends.
Family and friends may gather in celebration of Nilde's life on Sunday, (November 1), from 3-6 p.m. and on Monday, (November 2), from 10-11 a.m. prior to the funeral procession at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Funeral procession will be Monday,( November 2), 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Saint Brigid, 1088 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, Nilde may be remembered with contributions to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
