Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph McKeon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Mike Mathieu
Condolence: My God, Joe. I'm sitting here thinking of you and the many years we spent together and shared dinners, conversations, and laughter. I miss you so much, Joe. I can't express how much I miss you...I haven't been able to make sense of this news since I found out a few months back. I still don't want to believe this. I still want to call you to get together for dinner.

You changed my life when I was just a student without much of a future. You opened my mind and heart to an entirely new world and I've never been the same since.

I miss drinking scotch with you, eating your mashed potatoes, listening to Neil Young and Gregorian chants, sitting on your couch talking about trips to China, and all our stories from CCSU. I still miss that ridiculously overgrown ficus tree in your living room even though you moved it out after you remodeled.

I'm still here Joe and you are too. In my heart, you are here. I miss you so much, my dear dear friend, teacher, and guide. I'm certainly not me without you.

I wish I had one more chance to share a story under the light of an oil lantern at your dinner table. I'm glad you were at least able to meet Annabelle before we moved to Seattle. I miss you my dear friend. I love you and will always miss you. I'll keep your spirit in me for the rest of my own life and will think of you when my time comes so we can meet again and share stories again.
