Condolence From: Mary Jo Hansen
Condolence: Dear Rose, Al and family,

Jorgen & I send our heartfelt condolence to each of you on the loss of your beloved Doris. If ever there was a role model for a mother, wife, & grandmother, Doris set the standard way above the norm! To be able to share in your lives and those of your children in a daily way was a gift from God and truly a blessing to both Doris and each of you.

I felt so fortunate to have been part of her life, even in such a small way. Our Christmas shopping expedition to Tuesday morning for nutcrackers and dolls, and then our coffee adventure afterwards has always been a treasured memory for me and brings smiles even today. She was definitely a West Hartford friend who continued to welcome us and enhance our visits!

We are thinking of you & hope all her lessons & teaching will support you as you come to realize in the days ahead, how well she prepared each of you for life. She touched three generations and that was a rare gift indeed.

Doris lived her FAITH every day. May she rest in peace with a job well done. Our love and blessings to each of you.

Condolence: My prayers are with all of Doris's family. I feel honored to have gotten to know Doris. She was a wonderful lady . She really loved her family a lot . Telling me stories about them all the time. We had fun cooking together. She knew I wasn't a great cook so she would teach me. I learned how to make stuffed cabbage, spaghetti sauce, and pie crust, yum. I really will miss spending Mondays with her.

Condolence: My condolences to Doris' family. Tony and Doris were on bowling leagues for many years (with the Mische, Colangelo, Marques, Celeto, etc families) with my parents and I remember what a sweet, kind woman she was. I hope you find comfort in loving, beautiful memories with her.

Condolence:
Having the honor of spending many wonderful hours with your devoted Mom, Gram, Aunt, and friend - Doris always was thinking of ways she wanted to help out her children and grandchildren. Her foundation of love here was you.
I know she is where she will be able now to fulfill her deepest desire to help you all in her special way.

Doris - We feel so fortunate to have had you in our lives - thank you for your wisdom.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
