Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carleen Borawski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dear Ken, We are very sad to hear of Carlene's recent passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor and we will truly miss her. Carleen was a lovely woman who left all of us too soon. Her stories and emails always made us smile. The beach at sunset with RJ and Lexie was her favorite place to be, and that is how we will remember her. It was a pleasure to have known her. Carleen, we shall miss you very much, but we'll never forget you . . . We met during a summer stay on Cape Cod long ago - before we could spend a whole summer in Brewster. Then with age came priviledge and the cottages on Robert Road became our summer residences. Enjoying many gorgeous sunsets over Cape Cod Bay together, on a starry night looking through a telescope together into the worlds beyond ours, sharing stories and pictures of grandchildren, telling each other about the best places to get seafood. And with your legendary love for cats you allowed us to leave our indoor cat Dusty in your and Ken's care, while we spent a week in NH or VT. You kept a running Dusty diary and sent it to us every night. You took your title as Dusty's honorary Godmother very seriously. We always went out to dinner with you and Ken before we had to part and return our other lives for a while. We knew Carleen would make sure that we kept up via email until "next June". Goodbye, dear friend, and when Peter brings his telescope to the Cape again next summer, we will definitely all be remembering you. Shalom! God's Peace be with you.
