Although I didn't know Barbara very well, I thought that I'd send along a parting condolence.
I too was in the 1948 Bulkeley HS class. My family moved away shortly thereafter and I have been living in Michigan for many years.

I cant begin to describe the flood of feelings that came over me upon hearing this news. My heart goes out to your entire family. Simply put, your mother was a saint, funny, and full of love and compassion. This is the way I remembered her growing up on Fennbrook Rd many years ago. My mother adored her and missed her when we moved to Ohio. I want to extend our deepest sympathy to your entire family. I wish I could be there.
