Today Heaven welcomed back an Angel, Our beloved Babci, Zofia (Kamassa) Lesinski, 81, of West Hartford, she passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Hospital of Central CT, with her daughter Eva at her side. She gave gifts of Life to one and all. She was the loving wife of 58 years to Henry Lesinski. Born in Inowroctaw, Poland, on May 15, 1932 the daughter of the late Walenty and Pelagia Kamassa, she had lived in West Hartford for the past 49 years. Zofia worked at Sage Allen and was retired from the Hublein Crop after 16 years. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Zofia enjoyed her cat Kinu and helping her talented husband at home with his many projects. She will be remembered by her daughter, Eva Kijek and her husband, Stanley of West Hartford, her son, Mariusz Lesinski and his wife Eva of West Hartford. She was the loving Babci to her four cherished grandchildren, Gregory Kijek of Middletown. Alicia Kijek of West Hartford, Katie Lesinski of Texas and Julianne Lesinski of West Hartford; a brother Jan Kamassa and his wife Iwona and many nieces, nephews and close friends in Poland. Funeral procession will be Saturday, Nov. 9, from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am in Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, Nov.8, from 6-8 pm.
