Werner A.  Schulz
Werner A. Schulz, 98, of West Hartford died peacefully June 9, 2015 at John Dempsey Hospital after a brief illness. The son of William R. Schulz and Anna (Fluder) Schulz, he was born January 16, 1917 in New Britain. He was predeceased by his siblings, Herbert and Gertrude. Werner is survived by his wife, Theresa of 64 years and sons, William and wife Barbara of Burlington and grandchildren Gregory and Daniel and James and wife Meliney of Glastonbury and grandchildren Sara and John; brother-in-law Bernard Bodine and six loving nieces. He retired from Arrow Hart after many years as a tool and die maker in 1979. Many thanks to his caregivers from McLean and a special thank you to Chris Sesta. Werner and Theresa are thankful for the many years of friendship with Ann and Bill Turley and Dick and Barbara Gasparini. Werner will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather and a true gentleman with a great sense of humor who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, (June 15), 11:00 at the Church of St. Helena, Echo Lane, West Hartford with a gathering at the church hall after mass. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
