Theresa Pauline “Terri” Concatelli, 63, of Hartford, beloved daughter, sister and aunt, died suddenly Tuesday (May 14, 2013). Born in Hartford, on Oct. 2, 1949, daughter of the late Pauline (Vona) and Anthony Concatelli, Sr., Theresa was a graduate of South Catholic High School (’67) and Central Connecticut State University (’72). Theresa worked at the VA Hospital in Newington from 1987 until her retirement in 2012. She was a devoted caregiver to her mother and had a true servant’s heart as a very active volunteer in her church community, Hannon-Hatch VFW Post 9929 Ladies Auxiliary and the Girl Scouts of Connecticut. Theresa was also predeceased by her siblings, Frances Corcoran, Anthony Jr., and Mark. She is survived by her aunts, Louise Magaldi, Yolanda Kolodziej and Frances Concatelli; her sister-in-law, Janet Concatelli; her nieces and nephews, Michele and Michael Gaskell, Adam and Julie Corcoran, Sarah and John Lacy, and Andrew and Carrie Concatelli; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan Gaskell, Kaitlyn, Cody and Quinn Corcoran, and Alexandra and Elia Lacy; and many cousins, neighbors, coworkers and friends.
Funeral procession will be Saturday, May 18, at 9:15 a.m. from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be on Friday, May 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
