Obituary for Santo Cirinna

Santo Cirinna
Santo Cirinna, 93, of West Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, with his family by his side. Santo was born in Canicattini Bagni, Sicily, Italy on April 15, 1924 to the late Antonino and Nancy Cirinna. He served proudly in the Italian Army during World War II. He came to America on May 18, 1966 with his wife and five sons to make a better life for his family. Santo was a member of the Italian American Stars in Hartford. His favorite pastime was, watching his teams Jeventus and the Boston Red Sox, gardening and spending time with his family. Santo leaves his wife Concetta (Cugno) Cirinna; his five sons and daughters-in-law, Nino and Lucia of West Hartford, Corrado and Marisa of Wethersfield, Salvatore and Nancy of Rocky Hill, Roberto and Susan of Rocky Hill and David and Claudia of Wethersfield, eleven loving grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral procession will be Monday,(May 22), 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am at St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Sunday, (May 21), from 2 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com
