Rosinda Zina Santo passed away March 1, 2015. Rosinda was born on May 5,1936 in Sobral da Lagoa, Portugal. Rosinda moved to the United States in 1969 and worked as a seamstress until she retired at age 62. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed growing many varieties of beautiful flowers. Rosinda was a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hartford, CT and in Ludlow, MA. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jose Branco Santo, her daughter Natalia (Santo) Marcelino, and Natalia’s husband Jose Marcelino, a sister Adelaide Zina, and two brothers Antonio Zina, and his wife Victoria Zina who live in Portugal, and Jose Zina and his wife Fatima Zina who live in Germany. Rosinda is also survived by her grandsons, Jason Marcelino, and Nelson DaCunha and his wife Miriam Correa, and her grandchildren Gabriel, Daniel, and Brendan DaCunha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 5, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Wednesday, March 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home,1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
