Obituary for Robert F. Cleary Sr.

Robert F. Cleary Sr., 87 of West Hartford beloved husband of the late Mildred ( Lombardi ) Cleary died Sunday (May 3, 2015). Born in Hartford he lived in West Hartford over 60 years. Robert was a member of St. Timothy Church, West Hartford. He served in the US Navy during WW II aboard the USS Kearsarge. He was employed at Aetna Insurance for many years retiring in 1992. Robert leaves his daughter Rosemary A. Cleary of West Hartford; a daughter-in-law, Sandra R. Cleary of West Hartford; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and John Civitillo of Wethersfield; sisters-in-law, Mary T. Lombardi and Teresa L. Annulli both of West Hartford; two grandchildren, Thomas W. Cleary and Julie A. Cleary both of West Hartford he also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Robert F. Cleary Jr. and a brother, John Cleary.
The funeral procession will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. from Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at St. Timothy Church.
