Regina "Jean" (Plourde) Beaumier, 82. of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Lucien A."Lou" Beaumier, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Caribou, ME, where she met her future husband Lou, at a Valentine's Day, USO Dance while he was stationed there. They were married and fortunate to have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Jean was the cornerstone in assisting her husband open and operate "Lou's Auto Service" , West Hartford in 1969, which is still in operation and family owned. She was an communicant and active member of St. Brigid Church, West Hartford; a member of the St. Brigid Ladies Guild and the VFW, West Hartford. Her love of baking yielded many happy family gatherings. Jean's baked goods for Church functions were always the first sold. Her greatest joy was spending time and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean is survived by her three children, Debra George, Barbara and Chuck Fisher and Robert and Dawn Beaumier all of West Hartford; seven grandchildren, Kim Boyko, Stacey Fisher-Fromosky, Stephen Fisher, Danielle and Christie Beaumier, Alex Whitfield and AJ Beaumier; nine great-grandchildren, Jake, CJ, Annie, Frank and Cassidy Fromosky, Angelina, Stetson, and Colton Whitfield and Hunter Beaumier; three sisters and three brothers. She was predeceased by six sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, (September 4), at 10:00 am at St. Brigid Church, 1088 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. West Hartford. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church. 1088 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT 06110.
