Obituary for Peter S. Antink Jr.

Peter S.  Antink Jr.
Peter S. Antink, Jr., 83, of West Hartford, beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Migner) Antink died Tuesday, (January 14, 2014) at home. Born in Hartford, son of the late Peter S., Sr. and Bertha (Zurawski) Antink, he lived in West Hartford many years and was a communicant of St. Brigid Church, West Hartford.
Prior to his retirement, Peter was employed at Cobra Pipe and Supply. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 14216, VFW- Hannon Hatch, Post 9929 and the American Legion 117 and was a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He is survived by three daughters, June Kaminski of West Hartford,
Sandra Desrochers and husband, Leo of Southington and Linda M. Antink of West Hartford; a son, Michael P. Antink of West Chester, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Francis Aiello of Avon; a sister-in-law, Rachel Doucette of Oldsmar, FL; three grandchildren, Sara Kaminski, Justin Kaminski and David Desrochers and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral procession will be Monday, 9:15 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will be with military honors in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Archbishop's Annual Appeal, P.O.
