Pasquale C. Maffucci
Pasquale C. Maffucci, 88, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of the late Gloria (McLean) Maffucci, whom he married on September 8, 1951, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Dunmore, PA, he lived in Wethersfield over 50 years. He was a WW II US Army Veteran and retired from Sealtest Dairy and SNET Co. Pat was a hard worker and proud of positions he held at; Underwood, Royal Typewriter, Baumert Sales and Walmart and had a love of animals. He leaves his daughters, Laura Maffucci of Coventry, Mary Anne Maffucci of Wethersfield; a brother, Vito Maffucci of South Windsor; two sisters, Antoinette Krantz of Elmwood and Lucy Hope of Newington. He was predeceased by two sisters, Rosemary DeMuth and Carmela Fiorentino.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 13, 2014, 10:00 am at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Great Dane Rescue of New England, 33 Rhode Island St., Cranston, RI 02920-5015.
