Obituary for Mary Jane Bouchard (Guida)

Mary Jane (Guida) Bouchard, 81, of Bloomfield, formerly of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Raymond P. Bouchard, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at home. Born in Hartford, she had lived most of her life in Hartford before moving to Bloomfield, 14 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Mary Jane was employed at the State of Connecticut Dept. of Public Health as a supervisor in the Licensing and Renewal Division. She was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford and was involved with running the Bingo games at the Church, along with many other activities. Mary Jane was a warm hearted women and will be missed by all her family and friends. She leaves two sons, Raymond P. Bouchard Jr. and his wife Patricia of Coventry and Richard W. Bouchard and his friend Michele Livingston of Hartford; a daughter Paula Katzman and her husband Marc of Bloomfield; five grandchildren, Normand Rainville and his wife Leslie Soler , Jamie Rainville and his wife Jennifer and Jason Rainville and Raymond P. Bouchard, III and Rachel Bouchard and four great-grandchildren Yvan, Andre, Tayler and Ian Rainville and a nephew Ronald Bouchard and Normand Rainville. Funeral procession will be Tuesday, (December 16), 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10;00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Monday, (December 15), from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 565 Ashford Center Road, Ashford, CT 06278 or St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
