Maria J. Santos (Pimpao)
Maria Joaquina (Pimpao) Santos, 90, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Irineu Santos, died Friday, (November 27, 2015), at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation, West Hartford. Born in Freixiosa, Portugal she had lived in West Hartford for many years and was retired from the Aetna Insurance Co. She is survived by a son Antonio Santos and his wife Lucy Coelho-Santos of Rocky Hill, a daughter Silvia Flickinger and her husband James of Avon; seven grandchildren, Alexa, Nicholas, Isabella, Briela, James, Michael and Christopher and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral and burial are private. The Santos family would like to thank the staff at the Hughes Health and Rehabilitation for the loving care given to Maria. Memorial donations in her name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
