Margaret L. (MacDonald) Jackson, 97, of West Hartford, wife of the late Arthur J. Jackson, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012. Born in East Hampton, MA, she was a resident of West Hartford most of her life. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she especially enjoyed their many family gatherings and holidays. Margaret is survived by her children, Cynthia Fahey and her husband James of South Windsor, Michael D. Jackson and his wife Susan of West Hartford, Shelia Vannie of Farmington and David Jackson and his wife Paula of California; her grandchildren Michael and Tanya Fahey, James and Andreea Fahey, Jessica Vannie and Roy Ingerson, Rebecca and Tom Haughey and Sean Jackson and six great-grandchildren Lauren, Alex, Luke, Ethan, Leah and Kaelyn. She was predeceased by a loving son-in-law Kenneth J. Vannie. The family would like to thank the compassionate and dedicated staff for the care our mother received while at St. Mary Home.
