Obituary for Manuel De Gouveia
Manuel De Gouveia, 85, of West Hartford, passed away, on April 25, 2015, surrounded by his family.
Manuel was born in Madeira Portugal, lived in Venezuela before settling in Hartford. He retired from Vulcan Radiator. He was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. He loved playing cards, watching soccer and joining his friends for coffee. But his greatest love was his wife who he cherished until she passed. He is survived by his two children, Manuel Gouveia of Boston, MA, Gloria DeLeon and her husband Troy of East Hampton, and the greatest joys of his life his grandchildren Troy and Taylor DeLeon as well as numerous family members,
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 28th at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hartford. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
