Lu-Anne M.  Bordonaro
LuAnne M. Bordonaro, 49, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of West Hartford, wife of Kurt McIlroy, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 22, 2015. Besides her husband, she leaves her parents, Paul T. and Natalie (Melluzzo) Bordonaro of West Hartford and her brother, Paul C. Bordonaro of West Hartford. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Kaylee and Jason McIlroy; her mother-in-law and her husband, Lynnet and Milt Bennett of MI; her father-in-law and his wife, John and Janet McIlroy of IN, and her aunts and uncles; John and Kathy Bordonaro of CA, Rocco and Cora Lou Larria of Rocky Hill, many extended family members and a host of special friends in CT and TN. Born in Hartford on September 8, 1965, she was raised in West Hartford and was a graduate of Northwest Catholic High School. LuAnne was employed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, as a cameraman and was also the producer of her own local television show called "Country Time Today". She loved country music and enjoyed line dancing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, (June 30), 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 872 Farmington Ave., West Hartford. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Monday, (June 29), from 4-6 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
