Obituary for Loretta Phelan (Jordan)

Loretta (Jordan) Phelan, 97, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Charles A. Phelan, passed away Wednesday (March 25, 2015) at Avery Heights, Hartford. Loretta was born in New York City. She is survived by her five children, Kathleen Meitz, Patricia Phelan, Gerald Phelan, Brian Phelan and Richard Phelan; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, (April 1), 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Hartford. Visitation will be prior to the Funeral Mass beginning at 9:30 am at the Church. Burial will be on Thursday (April 2), at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, 494 New Britain Ave., Hartford, CT 06106 or to St. Augustine Food Pantry, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford, CT 06114.
