Obituary for Joseph A. Gagne

Joseph Anthony "Joe" Gagne, 32, of West Hartford passed away suddenly on January 10, 2014. He attended West Hartford schools his whole life and was a graduate of Endicott College. He was employed as an Ability Analyst by the Hartford. He had a passion for the culinary arts and always put love into the food he would cook for his family. He was an avid New York Giants fan and spent countless Sunday afternoons cheering them on with his father. His huge personality shown through his beautiful, striking smile and he would find every opportunity he could to laugh. His kind heart was filled with genuine love, sensitivity, selflessness, and a fierce desire to make his loved ones happy. He is survived by his fiancé Heather Fracchia, who was the light of his life, his parents Rich and Diane Gagne and his sister Stephanie Lynne Gagne all of West Hartford; his maternal grandfather Francis Leva of Farmington and his fraternal grandparents Richard and Joan Gagne of Old Saybrook; many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and his loyal canine companions L.T. and Steve. He will always be loved. "There are places I remember all my life though some have changed. Some forever not for better. Some have gone and some remain. All these places had their moments with lovers and friends I still can recall. Some are dead and some are living. In my life I loved them all. But of all these friends and lovers there is no one compares with you and these memories lose their meaning when I think of love as something new. Though I know I'll never loose affection for people and things that went before. I know I'll often stop and think about them. In my life I loved you more"-The Beatles.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Brigid Church in West Hartford on Tuesday, January 14th, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations in Joe's name may be made to the ASPCA.
