Jose A. Abreu, 66, of West Hartford, formerly of Hartford, died Friday, January 4, 2013 at a local convalescent home. Born in Arruda dos Pioes Rio Maior, Portugal, son of the late Antonio Abreu and Florinda Rosa Ramos and lived Hartford for many years.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Antonia and Carlos Vieira of Avon; a niece Sandy Vieira and her husband Jose Raphel Gonzalez of Hartford; a nephew Mark Vieira of Springfield, MA and six great nieces and nephews, Jadi, Hendyliz, Jose Andre, Jose Manuel, Aiden and Isaiah.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 10:00 am at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be prior to the Funeral Service from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home.
