Obituary

Jeanne ( McManus) Tacy, 92 of West Hartford, passed away on January 29, 2020, she was the beloved wife of the late Donald D. Tacy. Jeanne was born in Cambridge, MA to the late John T. and Elwine (Cowell) McManus. She loved spending time with her family, especially family parties with her children and grandchildren. She loved travelling with Don. Jeanne worked as a Meter Maid for the West Hartford Police Department for 20 years. She leaves a daughter Kathleen LaBranch and her husband Arthur of West Hartford, and a son, John W. Tacy and his wife Maureen of Eastford. Jeanne also leaves her four grandchildren that she absolutely adored, Jack LaBranch and his wife Sandy of West Hartford, Michael LaBranch and his wife Stacey of Newington, Ryan Tacy and his wife Jacqueline of Canterbury, and Kyle Tacy of Eastford. Jeanne also leaves behind her five great grandchildren who lovingly called her GG. Scott and Jessica LaBranch, Allison LaBranch, and McKenna and Harper Tacy. She was predeceased by her son Michael D. Tacy.
The family would like to thank Hartford Healthcare/Hospice for the help and kindness that they showed to Jeanne. Also, a special thank you to her caregiver Natasha.
