Jean D. Herlihy (Templeton)
Jean D. (Templeton) Herlihy, 88, of Middletown, formerly of Hartford, passed away on May 10, 2015. Born in Hartford, on January 26, 1927, daughter of the late Robert W. and Lucy (Flaherty) Templeton and raised in Hartford. Jean was a graduate of Our Lady of Sorrows School, and was a long time parishioner and communicant of the church. She had been employed by Acme Auto, Inc., retiring after more than 25 years of service.
She is survived by one son, Brian Herlihy of Middletown; two granddaughters, Erin and Kristen Herlihy; one sister, Barbara Kielbasa of West Hartford; sister-in-law, Mrs. Richard (Marie) Templeton of West Hartford; and her caretaker, Jerroldine Spencer of Middletown.
Funeral procession will be on Friday, May 15th, at 9:15am from The Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, with a Mass of Christian Burial 10am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford. Calling hours will be at the funeral home from 8:30-9:15am prior to the funeral services. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
