Obituary for Gliceria Liberatore (Pizzoferrato)

Gliceria (Pizzoferrato) Liberatore, 92, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Giovanni Liberatore, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Born in Pratola Peligna (AQ) , Italy, she came to the U.S. in 1963 and has lived in West Hartford for over 40 years. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Wiremold Company, West Hartford. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Franco and Roxanne Libertatore of Rocky Hill and Bruno and Ines Libertatore of Delray Beach, FL; a brother, Tonino Pizzoferrato of Florida; a sister Cristina DiNino of Florida and a granddaughter Melissa Moretti of New Jersey. Gliceria was predeceased by two sisters, Emma LaPorta and Romilde Marcantonio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, (January 6), 11:00 am at the Church of St. Helena, Echo Lane, West Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
