Frances A. Mangiofico (Spelas)
Frances A. (Spelas) Mangiofico, 81, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Manuel Mangiofico, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at home. Born in West Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Breive) Spelas and had lived in West Hartford most of her life. Frances is survived by four daughters, Sandra J. and John Gorman of East Granby, Deborah A. and George A. Ricardo of West Hartford, Mary E. Mangiofico of West Hartford and Joan and Steven Gagne of Windsor; a brother Anthony Spelas and wife Margaret of Rocky Hill; five grandchildren, Jason J. Ricardo and Diana Brickett of Terryville, John J. Gorman III of Vernon, Mark A. Ricardo and his wife Kayla of Bolton, Heather Rose Stolinas and her husband Justin of Ocoee, Fl and Cora-Lee Frances Osorio of Orlando, Fl; 6.5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by three brothers, John, Gene, and Martin "Joey" Spelas. Funeral procession will be Saturday, (Feb. 25), 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a graveside service, 10:00 am at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield (Apostles /section 12). Calling hours are Friday (Feb. 24), from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
