Florian Bolduc

Born and raised in Canada, he brought his lovely bride to the United States to start a new life and later became a U.S. citizen. They raised five children together. He bought a home in a mainly French section of Hartford, Connecticut and later moved to the Elmwood section of West Hartford. He was a proud and religious family man. Florian taught his family the value of hard work. Quite the handy man, he was always willing to help. He retired from Connecticut Spring as a Forman at the age of 65. He decided to take his first flight to Hawaii after retiring. He wintered in Florida for 14 years and eventually moved there two years ago. An adoring grandfather and great grandfather, he loved spending time with his family. He belonged to “La Recontre” and was an inspiration to many. He leaves many friends in Connecticut, Canada and Florida. Being quite the gentleman, he always wore a “chapeau”. His warm smile and blue eyes would light up a room. He spoke in a “sing-song” voice and loved to sing in Church and to anyone who would listen – he had quite the voice! He had a kind and gentle heart and it is his heart that took him away from us.
