Billie J. (Knoebel) Ozark, 84, of West Hartford beloved wife of 62 years to Ray L. Ozark passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014. Born in Marquette, Iowa; daughter of the late John and Eva (Winegar) Knoebel, she had lived in Chicago IL, Minnesota, and had resided in West Hartford since 1965. Prior to her retirement she was employed by The Hartford Group for 12 years. She was a member of St. Brigid Church, West Hartford, she was the past president of the Parish Council, a member and past president of the Ladies Guild. Besides her husband of 62 years, Ray, she leaves four sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert and Yvonne Ozark of North Righland Hills, TX; Brian and Donna Ozark of Perryville, MO; Kevin and Carole Ozark of West Hartford, Gregory Ozark of Denver, CO; a daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Gerard Boucher of Fort Myers, FL; eleven grandchildren, Brannon, Chad, Gray, Jacquilynn, Jason, Kristen, Macie, Marisa, Nicole, Scott, Todd; six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Ehren, Grace, Jack, Lilly, Ryan; one brother and sister-in-law Jack and Marguerite Knoebel of Houston, TX; and two sisters, Evelyn "Betty" Hoeschele of Washburn, IL and Patricia Hale of Lansing, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters, Jim Knoebel, Dorothy Byington, and Dora Spolnik. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, (June 26), at 10:00 am in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Friends may call on Wednesday, (June 25), from 5-7 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
