Augusto Alejandro  Aguiar
Augusto Alejandro Aguiar, 56, of West Hartford, beloved husband of 18 years to Manuela (Medeiros) Aguiar, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he arrived in Hartford in 1986. A warm hearted and generous man who was always willing to lend a hand when possible. You could always count on him to wish you a happy birthday, as he remembered all those most important dates in the lives of those dearest to him. He enjoyed watching his homeland's sports channels, especially the soccer games and his beloved team, River Plate. Augusto is predeceased by his parents, Roberto Aguiar and Dina Corradossi and his infant sister Dina Aguiar. In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his son, Roberto O. Aguiar of Los Angeles, CA; his uncle, Luís Corradossi and six cousins all of Chile; his sister-in-law Ada Costa and her husband Eduardo Jorge Costa of Newington; and two nieces, Melissa and Jennifer Costa of Newington. Augusto also leaves behind many cherished longtime friends, as well as, his very dear loving "mellizos", Alex and Gustavo Rodriguez. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 4, at 5:30 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 50 Kane St., Hartford. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
