Obituary for Antonio F. Araujo

Antonio F. Araujo, 65, of Hartford, beloved husband of Maria (Antonio) Araujo, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at home. Born in Santa Cruz, Madeira, Portugal, son of the late Antonio F. and Angelina (Freitas) Araujo, he resided in Hartford since 1968. Antonio was employed for many years at King Construction and also the Manafort Brothers Construction and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Besides his wife, he leaves a son and daughter-in-law Tony and Pauline Araujo and a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Luciano Pistritto; three sisters, Lucy Teles, Lurdes Araujo and Maria Araujo and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Gisella, Maya and Salvatore. Funeral procession will be Saturday, March 29, 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Friday, March 28, from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 50 Kane St., Fatima Square, Hartford, CT 06106. A Seven Day Mass will be Thursday, April 3, at 7:00 pm.
