Obituary for Ann Doyle (Buckley)

Ann Buckley Doyle, 82, formerly of West Hartford and Farmington, CT, died peacefully on March 17, 2014. Born in Hartford, she was a graduate of the Mount St. Joseph Academy in West Hartford and the Hartford Secretarial School. Before she retired in 1993, she worked for the University of Connecticut Health Center as an Administrative Coordinator in various academic departments. She was a parishioner for many years at St. Patrick's Church in Farmington. She is survived by her children, Thomas, Jr. of Bristol, CT, MaryEllen Markowitz and her husband Brad, of Greenwich, CT., Michael and his wife April, of Medway, Ma., Carol Mattessich and her husband, Kevin of Ridgewood, N.J. , and Gregory of Farmington, CT., and her grandchildren, Michael, Bryan, Emily, Timothy, Elizabeth, Abigail, Caroline and Maeve, and her former husband, Thomas Doyle. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ellen Buckley and her brother, John Buckley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 21 at 11:00 am at St Patrick's Church, 110 Main St., Farmington, CT, followed by interment at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Dean Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
