Obituary for William J. "Bill" DelGaudio
William "Bill" J. DelGaudio, 91, of West Hartford, son of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Cappiello) DelGaudio
was born in Hartford, CT on October 21, 1926 and died peacefully on October 1, 2018 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Patricia (Shelley) DelGaudio, his loving daughters, Lisa Segarra and Lori DelGaudio both of West Hartford and Lynn DelGaudio of North Carolina, as well as his two cherished grandchildren, Marisa Segarra of North Carolina and Luis Segarra, III, of West Hartford; his sister, Isabel Staib and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, a niece and a nephew.
Bill served in the U.S. Army in WWII and was honorably discharged. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. Bill's family would like to thank the entire staff at the Jefferson House in Newington, CT, especially the Morgan Unit for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
