Obituary for William C "Bill" Brescia
William C. "Bill" Brescia, 75, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Elmwood, a kind, loving and generous man has returned home on March 19 2019. Born in Hartford, son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Vendetta) Brescia, he lived most of his life in West Hartford, prior to moving to Texas and Florida.
He was the owner of W.C. Brescia Plumbing and Heating, Inc., for over 30 years. Bill loved his family, church and his friends in CT, TX and FL. He enjoyed playing racquetball, cards, going to the coffee shop and his beloved dogs. He was a passionate supporter of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
He is survived by his two children, Rebecca Brescia Farrell, her husband Michael, and his three grandchildren, Joseph Alaimo, Madeline Farrell and Ryan Farrell; his son, William Brescia, his girlfriend, Luz and her son Jesse; his three older brothers, James Brescia and his wife Ruth, Joseph Brescia,
John Brescia and his wife, Sandy; his sister-in-law, Ann Brescia; along with all his nieces, nephews and their families that he loved dearly and many wonderful friends. Bill was an amazing man and will be deeply missed by all and never forgotten. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, George Brescia.
