Tom, along with Joan, became good friends of mine when I first moved into a house down the street. As a newbie in the neighborhood, I would walk my dog and became friendly with the nice man who I noticed sitting in his driveway taking in the sunshine. He said hello, and I said hello. From then on, we then we just chatted more and more. My family was in NY, and Tom and Joan became my family in CT. I was fortunate to meet other members of their family, and was thrilled to be invited to a few family dinners and birthday celebrations! My Rosie was also good friends with their beloved dog, Jack. Tom had, and will always have, a special place in my heart. Thank you for being so good to me, Tom. I will miss you. I am so grateful for the many happy memories we share.
