Dr. Sheila Lim Chak, 89, of Norfolk, VA and recently West Hartford, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Sheila was born February 12, 1933 in Rangoon, Burma and went on to graduate from the University of Rangoon with a degree in medicine. Sheila went on to complete her clinical training at Cornell Medical Center and New York University in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Sheila was predeceased by her husband Dr. Sin Pui Chak as well as her siblings, Dr. Wan Ngo Lim, Kathy Lim, Constance Lin, Charles Lim and Tong Kar Lim. Sheila will be greatly missed by her loving nieces and nephews whom she blessed with her gracious optimism and endearing smile at every family gathering. Known for her love of cats, Sheila’s house became the most delightful, forever home of many a stray and rescue.
