Obituary for Sebastian Ralph DeTuccio
Sebastian "Mike" DeTuccio of West Hartford, CT passed away, surrounded by his family on April 14, 2021. Born in Hartford on June 18, 1943, he was the son of Nellie and Daniel S. DeTuccio. He graduated from Buckley High School and was employed in the printing department at Cigna for over 25 years.
At 18, he enlisted in the Air Force and proudly served in the Vietnam War in 1965-1966. As Assistant Scoutmaster he was involved in the Boy Scouts of America for Troop 163 in West Hartford for over 26 years. He was a member of the Elmwood Senior Center, the Squires, and a coach for the Metacon Gun Club.
He leaves his adored wife Judith DeTuccio of West Hartford, his son Daniel T. DeTuccio of Wolcott, his cherished grandchildren Brianna and Lyla DeTuccio of West Hartford, his brother David DeTuccio of Glastonbury, his brother & sister in-law Thomas and Mary Ann Connor of West Springfield, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral procession will be Monday, (April 19), 10:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 am at St. Peter Claver Church, 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford. Burial with Military Honors will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours will be prior to the funeral procession from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
