Sara “Sally” Marie Stanwicks, 92, of West Hartford, beloved wife of William “Bill” Stanwicks Sr., died Thursday (January 28, 2021) with her sons by her side. Born in Waterbury, she lived most of her life in West Hartford. Sally was a member of the Saint Bridget Ladies Guild for many years and later she went back to work for the family business and then on to work at two dentist offices.

She is survived by her five boys and their significant others, Bill and Jude of Coventry, Ken and Donna of East Haddam, Brien and Maria of Newington, Tom and Marilyn of Kensington, Terry and Alicia Manchon of Old Saybrook, her grandchildren, Jason, Kabel, Graham, Jessica, Nina, Niko, Meghan and Lyndsey and great grandchildren Eli, Theo, Riley, Gunner and Isabella. was predeceased by her father Edgar, mother Mildred and sister Patricia O’Brien, grandson Ryan and brother-in-law Robert “Breezy” Hopkins Jr.

Sally is predeceased and survived by many, many great friends and to name one would be to omit hundreds! She loved her husband, she loved her boys, she loved her friends, and she was loved by many in return.
