Rolande Roy, 96, of West Hartford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband, Real Roy. Rolande was born February 10, 1924 in Beauceville, Canada.
She leaves behind her daughter Ruth and husband Oliva Veilleux, her son Marty and wife Joyce of West Hartford, her daughter Shirley and husband Bob Valonis of Stuart, Forida and daughter Celine and husband Ron Bertrand of Rocky Hill. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
She was employed with Colt Firearms as an inspector for 38 yrs. Maman always had the desire to seek a better future for her family and was blessed to have achieved many of those dreams. Her passions were cooking and always opened her home with love to family and friends.
