Robin “Rob” Rivard, 64, of West Hartford went home to be with his lord on Saturday June 8, 2019. Rob was born in Milford, CT the son of Nelson Rivard and Ethel (Haines) Rivard.
Rob was a beloved husband and father, survived by his wife Susan Johnson Rivard of 37 years, son Ryan Rivard and his husband Michael Mazzone of Medford, MA.
He leaves his 3 brothers, Ronald, Russell, and Raymond Rivard. He was predeceased by his sister Rochelle Chace.
He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Beverly and her husband Steven Danielson, Linda Johnson and her late husband Thomas. He leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with great-nieces and nephews who will always remember his loving heart and smile.
He was a devoted member of Grace Church of West Hartford, and a long time employee of Schaller Auto World. Rob was loved by all those who knew him and will be deeply missed.
All services remembering Rob will be at Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home located at 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT. Calling hours will be Wednesday June 12, from 5-8pm and a funeral service Thursday June 13, at 10:00am with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
