Obituary for Peter Geary "Pete" Crombie
Peter 'Pete' Geary Crombie, of Weeki Wachee, Florida died on December 12, 2020 from Covid 19. He is the husband of Janice Cooper Crombie. Pete is survived by three children: Kenneth (Shauna) of Colorado, Joanne Gousse of Spring Hill, FL; and William (Tanya) of Louisiana. He leaves six grandchildren: Jayden, Jace, Lauren, Kristen, Owen, and Amanda and one great grandchildren, Oaklyn Rey. In addition, he is survived by a brother, Philip (Peg) of South Windsor; and sister Carol of West Hartford and several nieces and nephews.
Pete was born on April 8, 1937 in New Britain, son of the late Leo and Anne (Bardeck) Crombie and spent most of his life in Bloomfield. Pete was a member of the Bloomfield Police Department and retired after many years of service as detective. He was a communicate of Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield and served on the parish counsel.
