Pauline (Doyon) Barnfield, born in Holland, VT on November 21, 1921, daughter of George and Marie (Blancette) Doyon, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 30, 2022.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband Leslie G. Barnfield and her siblings Henri-Louis Doyon, Leo Doyon, Mariange Doyon Wells, John Doyon, Alphonse Doyon, Nelson Doyon, and Rachel Doyon Bosari. Pauline attended M. Louis School of Hair Design in New York and later owned and operated a beauty salon in West Hartford for many years.

The Barnfield’s enjoyed extensive travel to many different countries. She loved languages and was fluent in French, Spanish and English.

Pauline and her husband Leslie were avid dancers and belonged to many dance organizations. Pauline was an active member of the Les dames Francaise and won numerous trophies for her beautiful dancing.

Pauline is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Pauline’s caregivers; niece Michele Trumpold, nephew Phil Wells, Margie Cameron, Therese Ouellette and a special thank you to Constellation Hospice and the exceptional care that Fatou and Anna gave to Pauline at home.
