Patricia J. Vendetta, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at St. Mary Home in West Hartford. Patty was born in Hartford to Mary (Hastie) Morris and Richard J. Morris. Patty is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas D. Vendetta; her three sons, Mike, Jeff, and Craig and his wife Leslie; her two brothers, Dick Morris and his wife Cathy and Robert Morris and his wife Kim, and her sister Marybeth Mackay and her husband John. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Patty graduated from Conard High School in 1961, and except for a few years when Nick was down south and she was a military spouse (Semper Fi), she spent most of her life living in West Hartford, where she was a part of the St. Brigid Church community. Patty was a long-time member of the St. Brigid Ladies Guild where she served her parish and made cherished friendships.

Patty will be most remembered for her warmth and kindness. She lived her life putting others first, always saw the good in people, always had words of encouragement and acceptance. She made you feel at home, loved and accepted. She quietly made our lives better and will be dearly missed by us all.

Calling hours will be Friday, (January 27th) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, (January 28th) at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Church, 1083 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford.
