Nathan A. Chacon, 22, of West Hartford, CT passed away peacefully on November 17, 2019 after a battle with Cerebral Palsy and other complications. He was born February 26th, 1997 in Hartford, the son of Jose and Julia (Colon) Chacon. He was home-schooled for most of his life and received his diploma from Conard High School in 2016.
Nathan lived a beautiful life with the exceptional care of his parents and nurses. He enjoyed going on trips to Disney World with his family, listening to music, watching Disney and sporting events. Kids having fun and crowded noises brought the excitement and joy out of him. Nathan always had a smile on his face and brought everyone together through good and bad times. He was brave, a strong person and true definition of what a warrior is; fighting the toughest battle of his life with every ounce of courage only a “warrior” could muster.
Nathan is survived by his loving parents Jose and Julia Chacon and devoted brother Joshua Chacon. He also leaves his maternal grandmother Amparo Colon, sister-in-law Rosemarie Benitez, several aunts, cousins, and close friends.
Funeral arrangements are being held at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave.,West Hartford, with calling hours on Friday from 5 pm-8 pm. The mass will be held on Saturday 10 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Hartford. Burial immediately following at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
