Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mona Duquette can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

JoAnne Jespersen Webster

Miss Duquette was my gym teacher at Charter Oak in 1959. She truly changed my life. I had an unhappy home life and she was right there for me whenever I needed her. She helped me with my tennis and and basket ball skills outside of the gym class time. She was a role model to me of what a strong confident woman could be. I have thought of her often over the past fifty-five years and every time I go past Charter Oak (I still live in the neighborhood) she is the one that comes to mind. I will forever be indebted to her for all she gave to me.
