Condolence: To: Bren's Family
I had the pleasure of working for and with Bren for over 20 years. We got to know each other very well. He was very proud of his heritage and loved his family deeply.I attended the Funeral Mass and can see why he appreciated you all so much. The service was beautifully arranged and delivered. Family members were prominent in every aspect.
His nephew's Eulogy and Father Kwiatkowski's remarks captured Bren's essence completely.
This was a fitting tribute to Bren and served as a perfect send off for his final journey. Bren was a terrific banker, who dedicated much of his adult life to Hartford National Bank and its successors.
His work ethic was legendary and he was well respected within the bank and in the community. Many of his colleagues and customers became close, personal friends.
He served as a mentor to me and had a profound, positive impact on my career.
I will never forget Bren and will always be grateful. Heaven has a new Angel with an Irish twinkle in his eye, a broad smile, and a contagious laugh. May the good Lord hold Bren in the hollow of his hand.

Condolence: My sincere condolences. to Marilyn,to all Brendon's Sisters and Family....
Brendon was my next door neighbor in Naples......One Palm Sunday I asked
him to bring me a Palm.....he did and every Palm Sunday after that...........
When he became sick I would tell him he couldn't die because he had to bring my PALM......His Irish humor would then start and that funny laugh/chuckle would begin.......I will miss Brendon, his Irish humor and his low quiet laugh.....BYE BRENDON.......March 14, 2016
Rest in Peace....... Christine McLaughlin

Condolence From: Brent DiGiorgio
Condolence: I was saddened today to hear of Bren's passing. I worked on several projects with him at Connecticut National/Shawmut Bank. He was always very professional and just a great person who made you laugh. I was just in Naples in January. I wish I had known he had a home there, as I would have looked him up. My condolences to his sisters. It's a shame so many of the good ones are passing. I just heard from friends a few weeks ago about the death of Gray Horn, who was in the Private Banking area at Shawmut and with whom many of us Connecticut National/Shawmut people worked. So sad.
