Michael J. Hughes, 58, of Westbrook, formerly of West Hartford, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Mulrain)Hughes and lived in West Hartford for many years. Michael is survived by a niece, Erin M.Mulcahy of Manchester; two brothers-in-law, James G. Mulcahy of Manchester and Winslow Runde of West Hartford. He was predeceased by two sisters, Maureen Ellen Mulcahy and Brideann Runde and a niece Kathleen Miskell. Funeral procession will be Thursday, 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am is St. Brigid Church, West Hartford.
