Maura Gallagher  Arbuckle
Maura (Gallagher) Arbuckle, 94, of Hartford, beloved and adored wife of the late John "Ross" Arbuckle, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 surrounded with love.
Maura was born in Tromorea, County Clare, Ireland, daughter of James and Margaret Gallagher, she had a nursing career in Salisbury, England and moved to the U.S. after WWII.

Maura made her home in Hartford for the rest of her life. She was a communicant of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church and a life member of the Irish American Home, Glastonbury. She loved travelling annually with Ross to Nova Scotia and enjoyed spending weekends at Cape Cod.

Maura leaves her loving and devoted daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and John Kaseta of Berlin, Joanne Hunt of Glendale, CA and Dennis Gagne of Newington. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Daniel Gagne, Michael Kaseta, Jennifer Graby, Colleen Bouffard, Heather Gagne and she cherished their spouses and her nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband Thomas Talty; her beloved daughter Rita (Talty) Gagne and a brother John Joe Gallagher.
A special thanks to Halina Dabrowska and Chandra Inderpaul for their years of outstanding homecare.

Funeral procession will be Thursday, (Sept 28), 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 494 New Britain Ave., Hartford. Burial will be in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Calling hours will be Wednesday, (Sept 27), from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
