Martin 'Joey' Joseph Spelas, 76, of Middletown formerly of West Hartford, died Sunday, June 5, 2016. Born in Hartford, son of the late Anthony J. and Agnes (Breive) Spelas, and lived in West Hartford many years.
Joey was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Dunham-Bush after many years.
He leaves a brother and sister-in-law Anthony T. and Margaret Spelas of Rocky Hill; a sister Frances Mangiofico of West Hartford; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Gene and John Spelas.
